This is not always the case. Christmas morning is different for example, or any other exciting day. I don’t have to wake up, I usually have been up all night in anticipation of all the fun. These mornings I might make some time to eat (since by now I really need to recharge my battery from lack of sleep).
I love eating oatmeal raw like in my Chocolate Almond Oatmeal recipe. This makes the perfect afternoon snack. When you have healthy and delicious things ready and waiting, grabbing the nutritious things to eat is a whole lot easier

Ingredients
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
3 tbsp avocado oil
1 egg
1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ยบ F. Spray donut pans with cooking spray.
Combine greek yogurt and water in a bowl, and set aside.
Get a large bowl and combine ALL the DRY ingredients.
Get a smaller bowl and combine ALL the WET ingredients.
Add the yogurt/water mixture to this bowl.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir to combine.
Place your large decorating tip into the piping bag.
Fill the piping bag with batter.
Pipe into each donut cavity.
***NOTE***
If you are not piping the batter, just use a spoon to fill the cavity.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until done. You can check the doneness with a cake tester.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly and remove donuts from pan onto cooling rack.

These donuts freeze well too!! Be sure to keep them in a sealed container so they don't dry out.
